Interested in a career in the energy sector? The Kleinman Center will host a panel discussion between accomplished alumni working in the field of energy which will focus on preparing students for a successful entrance into the energy sector. Panelists will discuss their career trajectories, the lessons they have learned, the trends that they observe, and will offer recommendations to students interested in entering this sector. This program will be an invaluable opportunity for students and advisors.

Derek Wong

Vice President of Government Relations and Public Affairs

Excelerate Energy

Derek Wong is the Vice President of Government Relations and Public Affairs at Excelerate Energy, where he leads their efforts in government relations, corporate social responsibility, and public affairs. He received a Master of Public Administration, with Distinction, from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with honors, from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kelly-Ann Corrigan

Chief Operating Officer

Runwise

Kelly-Ann Corrigan is the Chief Operating Officer of Runwise, a wireless smart building control platform, where she oversees all their service departments. In her position, she worked to expand their customer service department and drove their annual inventory savings by coaching the team through a strategic inventory and vendor consolidation project. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Lolita K. Jackson

Executive Director of Sustainable Cities

Sustainable Capital LLP

Lolita K. Jackson MBE is the executive director of sustainable cities at Sustainable Capital LLP, a climate investment firm. In her position, she frequently speaks at global gatherings and universities on climate diplomacy and public/private sector climate engagement. She received her degree in Applied Science, with a concentration in Chemical Engineering, from the University of Pennsylvania.

Alison Knasin (moderator)

Manager

Energy Justice Lab

Alison Knasin is the manager of the Energy Justice Lab, a research collaboration between the University of Pennsylvania and Indiana University which focuses on equity and justice in the energy transition. In her position, she helps coordinate research projects, manages cloud-based operations, and supervises members of the Lab team. Before joining the Lab, Alison received her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
